We were really interested to see some research published last week on gum disease and the links to high blood pressure. – According to the research it is becoming more apparent that there is a link between gum disease and high blood pressure.
The article summarising the latest research was published by the British Dental Journal (the holy grail of dental research) suggesting patients with established gum disease are at a higher risk of developing high blood pressure.
