What is teeth whitening?
Teeth whitening is essentially using a prescribed gel in specially made trays on the teeth to remove stains and to brighten the colour.
We make the whitening trays in-house, this means that they are custom designed and they can be made in as little as 24 hours.
What happens in the consultation appointment?
Your dentist will need to do a full assessment of your teeth to make sure that you are suitable for whitening. They will want to make sure that your teeth are happy and healthy, for example no decay or enamel erosion present.
They will check your medical history and discuss with you your needs.
A shade guide will be taken so you can see the progress once the treatment has started.
A mould of your teeth will be taken and that will be turned into your custom made whitening trays.
